The professional section strives to cover the integrated professional field of rehabilitation nursing and improving patient's self-care.

 

The goal of rehabilitation nursing is to help an individual with a mobility impairment and a chronic illness to restore, maintain, and promote optimal health.

 

Our vision includes the following points:

 

• Assistance in arranging a proposal for the composition of the initiative for the implementation of the title of nurse / health technician in rehabilitation and health resorts. 

• Organization of professional seminars, learning workshops for the purpose of disseminating and improving knowledge in the field of rehabilitation nursing.

• Cooperation and networking with experts in the field of rehabilitation nursing and with experts from other fields, both within Slovenia and abroad.

• Promotion of rehabilitation nursing.

• Research in the field of rehabilitation nursing and contributing to ensuring the good work of nurses and medical technicians, better quality nursing care and consequently better quality of life patients.

• Unification of nursing standards in the field of rehabilitation nursing.
